柳州华锡集团有限责任公司是国家特大型企业，1997年被国家列为重点支持的512户重点企业之一，2004年被国家列入“中国工业企业1000大”，2005年经国家质检总局评选，华锡集团生产的“金海”牌锡锭，再次荣获中国名牌产品称号，现已建立了国家级技术中心和博士后工作站。 
华锡集团目前下属有33个厂矿、分公司、子公司，分布在广西壮族自治区柳州市、河池市和来宾市，在北京、香港、沈阳、上海、深圳、郑州、武汉、成都设立有销售公司。至2006年8月底，华锡集团从业人员14000余人，其中各类专业技术人员3200多人，资产总额达45.75亿元，实现年销售收入32.66亿元，年利税5.58亿元。五十多年的建设和发展，华锡集团业已形成年采选250万吨矿石、年冶炼2.5万吨锡、80吨铟、4万吨铅锑、6万吨锌、70吨银的生产能力。主体矿山铜坑矿、高峰矿业公司引进了铲运机、潜孔钻机、破碎锤等机械设备，井下生产已基本实现采掘无轨化、凿岩大孔化、装运联动化；车河选矿厂、来宾冶炼厂也已成为目前我国锡行业中生产规模最大、工艺流程、技术装备最先进的选、冶厂之一。
